Gérard Rodriguez, what is your opinion on the fiscal year 2006/2007?

Gérard Rodriguez : I am pleased with Rodriguez Group’s recent evolution.
Following changes in our client base, the company had announced last year a strategic reorganization plan, which is already bearing fruit.
The recent decisions to develop new products and accelerate the up-market shift, as well as the significant decline in trade-in commitments, all contributed to building a stronger Group, with a view to fully benefiting from future growth opportunities.

Last year, you announced the launch of the Mangusta 165’. was the first yacht delivered?

Gérard Rodriguez : The first unit was delivered during the summer of 2007 and had a resounding impact on the yachting industry.
We have been touched by how well it was received by our clients and by the many prizes awarded by our professional peers.
The Mangusta 165’ is an exceptional yacht which holds several world records, including that of the largest Open series yacht in the world.

Are you currently working on other launches?

Gérard Rodriguez : Of course, the Group was built on two core ideas, innovation and service.
This is an integral part of the company’s identity.
Our teams are thus already working on a number of new models, including the Leopard 56-meter, which will itself beat new records and looks set to be an extraordinary yacht.
Being a leader is not a status, it is a state of mind…
