Rodriguez Group is convinced that one of its principal growth drivers is its human resources development policy, and accordingly, it has
initiated an approach based on confidence, dialogue and the provision of an individualized career path for each employee.
Rodriguez Group’s human resources policy goes hand in hand with its strategy and development challenges. It may be summed up by a few
key words: professionalism, personal fulfillment and social dialogue.

Professionalism
Striving for a high level of professionalism in all its activities is a priority for Rodriguez Group: this implies relentless efforts from all employees.
In order to assist them, the Group offers many training courses throughout the year: intensive language training courses, in particular in English, Italian and French in order to match clients’ expectations ever more closely. Rodriguez Group equips its yachts with the latest technologies, both in terms of navigation equipment and motorization. Captains and crew members are regularly offered specific training in order to be permanently up to date with these new technologies. Thus, crews are able to best use the Group yachts’ capabilities but also, to be in-step with yacht owners as they acquire larger units:
the level of training and abilities of sailors must reflect the size and complexity of the yachts.

Personal fulfillment
The Group pays particular attention to remuneration levels, ensures total employee involvement and is attentive to their suggestions. Rodriguez Group implements an overall remuneration policy based on company performance. Sharing in wealth creation is an added motivator for the workforce.

Until 2001, Rodriguez Group was a family-owned French company, with exports worldwide. Today, following the successive acquisitions of CNI and Bob Saxon Associates, the Group has become a multinational group established in many regions of the world, with a workforce of almost 290. Rodriguez Group’s global reach encourages respect for differences, since half of the Group’s staff is based internationally. The Group thus promotes non-discrimination as well as gender equality.

Social dialogue
In order to recruit the best candidates, the Group has to make itself attractive and create opportunities, while introducing a trusting environment. The Group relies on a quality social dialogue to establish, and more importantly retain this trust. Two management days are organized every year, one reserved for captains and one for Group heads of departments. The goal of these training days is to promote exchanges and improve the quality of dialogue with personnel.

As last year, a seminar was organized in September with all Group heads of departments. As an opportunity to bring together the various departments, this meeting reports on projects undertaken and involves everyone in the Group’s new objectives, both at organizational and commercial levels. This event enables to share and increase awareness of the Group’s values, its corporate culture and management principles.

Combining energies, encouraging personal initiatives, associating Group performance and personnel personal development are the priorities of Rodriguez Group’s human resources policy.
