YACHT MANAGEMENT AND CREW PLACEMENT

It is important to distinguish two complementary, yet very distinct activities: yacht management, which combines among others yacht administration, accounting and technical follow-up of yachts, and charter management, whose mission is to manage the owner yacht fleet offered for charter in partnership with yacht charter companies, including CNI.

The teams that manage these two divisions are in direct contact with owners and captains. Their objective is to optimize yacht operational costs and, for owners who elected to make their yacht available for charter, to promote their yachts on the charter market. The managed fleet comprises in both cases over 120 units.

The charter management activity is growing rapidly and the CNI fleet, attending major charter trade shows such as Antigua and Genoa, is by far the most important and has an ever more varied and extensive range of yachts on offer, from 20 to 70-meter, powered by sail or engine. Much more than a showcase for the company, the fleets managed by CNI demonstrate to the quality of the company’s services. Therefore, further development of these two support activities is a major objective of the company.

The company has thus undertaken to diversify and strengthen its charter fleet on both sides of the Atlantic, in order to continue addressing the needs of new clients eager to move up in range as their chartering experience grows. The result is a general increase in the number of yachts available for chartering, but more importantly, the availability of a wider selection, especially at top end and range entry levels, and the company continues to improve its offering.

In order to make the offer complete, the Group again puts the emphasis on crew selection and placement aboard large yachts. CNI has an extensive database of carefully selected crew members. In a market where the lack of human resources is a constant challenge, developing this division remains a priority. The recent restructuring of this division thus allowed for significant developments, both in terms of visibility and operations.
